From personal and professional experience, I am aware of the honor it is to sit across someone in therapy. I believe that there is courage in participating in therapy and being vulnerable.

As a therapist, I strive to provide a safe space for clients and whole-heartedly believe you are the expert in your experience. My work is to guide and create the safety you need to seek the clarity, insight, healing, or catharsis you need to be your full authentic self.

Specializes in:

Trained in:

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) & EMDR

My Mission:
My hope is that in your counseling process you feel encouraged, empowered, and safe to process through any difficult moments you may be going through. I will meet you where you are in a non-judgmental, open, and warm space to support you along the way.
My Journey:
I am a New-York born, Puerto Rican who found my way to Texas in pursuit of my graduate degree in Counseling Psychology. Having studied a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, I knew my passion and personal qualities were calling me to further my education in this field.

I found that completing my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Texas Woman’s University aligned with my multicultural-feminist values. And in more ways than one, I have seen how providing mental health services in Texas from a multicultural perspective and being able to work with the Spanish speaking population has been very meaningful to me.

Self-Care Rituals:

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy connecting with nature and moving my body through hiking, biking, and exercising. During my down time I also enjoy binge watching reality TV and finding some light-hearted comedies or stand-ups to connect with laughter.
