You’ve spent a long time trying to be the “good” one, dependable, kind, the one others can count on. But underneath that steady exterior, you might feel anxious, burnt out, or unsure who you really are outside of everyone else’s expectations. Maybe you struggle to speak up in relationships, fearing you’ll seem selfish or cause conflict. Or maybe you’re simply tired of carrying so much emotional responsibility and are ready to find your own voice.

I work with young adults and professionals who are learning how to show up authentically in relationships, in work, and within themselves. Together, we’ll explore the experiences and identities that have shaped you, including how early family patterns, cultural messages, and relational dynamics may still influence the way you move through the world today. In our sessions, you’ll have a space where all parts of you are welcome, even the ones that have been quiet for a long time.

I’ll support you in noticing what’s been getting in the way of your confidence and connection, while helping you build new ways of relating that feel more grounded, honest, and free. Tears, laughter, silence, and uncertainty are all part of the process, and all welcome here. My role is to help you feel safe enough to be seen and supported as you practice trusting yourself again.

My Mission:
To honor your story while empowering you to build the insight and self-compassion needed to heal and grow. The strength of the therapist-client relationship is a vital part of the therapy process. I strive to create an atmosphere that is welcoming, warm and flowing with compassion.

I recognize that engaging in therapy takes tremendous vulnerability, courage, and strength, and I am committed to moving at the pace that honors the work you are doing.
My Journey:
Growing up in an immigrant family and moving often, I quickly learned how to form relationships with those whose paths I crossed. Hearing the stories of others became a joy for me.

While studying Elementary Education and Psychology at Vanderbilt University, my passion for hearing and honoring the stories of others grew and led me to obtain my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University.

After that adventure, I moved to Dallas, began my career as a therapist and became a Licensed Professional Counselor.

FAQs

  • Do you provide online therapy in Texas or other states?
Yes—secure telehealth in Texas and Tennessee. A number of therapists at Empowered Healing Dallas are also able to see clients in 42 other U.S. States!

  • How effective is online therapy compared to in-person sessions?
For most concerns, outcomes are comparable to in-person care. Many clients feel safer opening up from home, which can enhance progress.

  • Can somatic therapy be done virtually?
Yes. We use grounding, orientation, breath, and micro-movement practices that translate well to video. I’ll demonstrate and pace with you during our sessions!

Self-Care Rituals:

I love spending time with friends, playing and watching tennis, and exploring the Nashville restaurant scene. I also recently adopted a rescue pup, Sydney.
