You might feel like you’re constantly taking care of everyone else, working hard to keep the peace, meet expectations, and hold things together, all while quietly feeling disconnected, anxious, or unsure of who you are beneath it all. Maybe you’ve learned to stay small to avoid conflict, or you’ve carried the weight of past experiences that still live in your body and relationships today.

I help clients who are healing from trauma, navigating relationship concerns, and learning to rebuild a sense of self they can trust. Together, we’ll explore how your story, including your family, culture, and life experiences, has shaped the way you think, feel, and connect. Through gentle curiosity and mind–body awareness, we’ll uncover what’s been stored inside, making space for understanding, release, and reconnection.

As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I hold space for the many layers of identity and belonging that can shape your journey. Therapy with me is not about perfection, it’s about being real, honoring your story, and finding safety within yourself again. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. You just have to start from where you are, and I’ll meet you there.

Whether we speak in English or Spanish, my goal is to help you find the words, safety, and connection that bring you closer to your authentic self.

My Mission:
I understand the courage it takes to begin therapy. My goal is to create a space that doesn’t feel clinical, but rather supportive, safe, free of judgement and nurturing, a space where you feel seen, heard, and prioritized. I’m here to walk alongside you, as you explore who you truly are, beyond expectations, labels, or messages others may have placed on you. Together, we’ll gently uncover the person you want to be, in a way that feels authentic and empowering to you.
My Journey:
Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be a therapist. I even looked up the meaning of my name once, and 'counselor' was listed right next to it. In high school, I was the one that friends turned to when they needed someone to really listen. Being that person just came naturally to me, and as I got older, my interest in counseling only grew stronger. In college, I learned about organizations that support survivors of sexual trauma and human trafficking. That opened my eyes and lit a fire in me to do something meaningful. I ended up working at a nonprofit that helps survivors, and that experience only deepened my passion for this work. Looking back, every step I’ve taken has led me right back to the same place. Helping people through counseling is where my purpose and passion meet.

FAQs

  • How does Somatic Experiencing help with complex trauma?
SE helps your body complete protective responses and expand capacity, reducing overwhelm and shutdown.

  • What makes complex trauma different from single-event trauma?
It’s cumulative and relational, often shaping self-worth and attachment. Therapy for trauma must be steady, safe, and relational.

  • How do you support clients who feel stuck in survival mode?
We build regulation first—orienting, breath, gentle movement—so change feels possible and sustainable.

Self-Care Rituals:

I love being with family and friends, traveling, shopping, playing with my dog, and trying new things. I enjoy playing soccer and going for walks.
