Maybe you’re questioning who you are, feeling disconnected from yourself, or noticing the same relationship patterns repeating over and over again. Perhaps you’ve spent years trying to meet other people’s expectations, navigating the impact of trauma, or wondering if you’ll ever feel fully accepted for who you are. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I have a true passion for helping LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, Latinx, neurodivergent, and emerging adults heal from trauma, strengthen their relationships, and reconnect with their authentic selves. I aim to create a space that is warm, collaborative, and affirming for both individuals and couples, and together we’ll help you heal from anything that has left you feeling disconnected, unseen, or stuck.

I believe healing happens through connection, and I strive to create a space where every part of you is welcome, while gently challenging the beliefs and patterns that may have once helped you survive but no longer serve the life you want to create.

My Mission:
Through compassion and gentle challenges, I’ll help you explore the beliefs and patterns that may have once helped you survive, but no longer support the life or relationships you want to create. Together, we'll cultivate greater emotional awareness and empower you to move toward relationships that feel more secure, authentic, and fulfilling.
My Journey:
My path to becoming a therapist began with a personal experience that changed the way I understood healing. I entered college thinking I wanted to pursue psychiatry, but through my own experience as a client, I came to appreciate the power of the therapeutic relationship. That experience ultimately led me to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University and pursue a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Texas Woman's University, where I was drawn to the program's foundation in feminist multicultural theory.

FAQs

  • Can therapy help me explore my biracial or multiracial identity?

Absolutely. Being biracial or multiracial can bring meaningful connection to multiple cultures while also creating complicated questions about identity, belonging, family, and where you feel accepted. You may feel pressure to explain yourself, choose between parts of your identity, or wonder where you “fit.” Therapy can offer space to explore these experiences while developing a sense of identity that feels authentic to you. And you deserve to be in therapy with a therapist who knows that all of your various identities, matter.

  • What is neurodivergence-affirming therapy?

Neurodivergence-affirming therapy doesn’t begin with the assumption that the way your brain works needs to be fixed. Instead, we can explore how ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodivergence intersect with your relationships, identity, emotions, and life experiences. Therapy can help you better understand your needs, reduce shame, and build a life that works with who you are rather than constantly asking you to become someone else.

  • What can I expect from LGBTQ+ affirming therapy?

You deserve a therapy space where your identity is respected, affirmed, and never treated as something that needs to be explained or changed. LGBTQ+ affirming therapy can give you space to explore relationships, identity, family experiences, coming out, belonging, trauma, or simply the everyday challenges of being yourself in a world that may not always feel accepting. Together, we can focus on what matters to you while helping you build greater self-trust, connection, and confidence in who you are.

Self-Care Rituals:

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll often find me exploring local coffee shops, spending time with my cat Luigi, playing video games, watching reality TV, or taking a hot yoga class.
