I believe all of you, your identities, and your lived experiences should be safe in therapy, and it is my goal to create an environment where you feel free to explore and become more of yourself. I enjoy supporting people-pleasers and perfectionists as they learn to soften to themselves and create meaningful relationships, and I believe we all deserve to be at the forefront of our own lives.

I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ folx in both individual and intimate partner counseling. I have a calling as a cis person to ensure that I am providing affirming care and creating a space in therapy where trans and non-binary individuals can feel safe and seen. To me, therapists serve as advocates for their clients, both with them as they are learning to find their own voice, and within the systems they navigate. Therefore, I am pleased to provide letters of support for gender-affirming care.

In addition to my relational, identity-centered approach, I also utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques with clients so that we can be expansive, curious, and goal oriented in our work together.

“It’s so dark right now, I can’t see any light around me. That’s because the light is coming from you. You can’t see it but everyone else can.”- Lang Leav

My Mission:
To honor you as your own expert on your life and your needs, and as we affirm your unique identities. Additionally, as an integrative psychotherapist, I strive to emphasize your individual strengths and work within your unique context.

I practice unconditional acceptance as I help you develop insight into your experiences and encourage you to embrace your power in order to make positive changes.
My Journey:
I made a home for myself in Dallas, after moving to earn my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. Previously, I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science.

While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I developed a greater understanding of the systems of inequity that keep individuals from accessing mental health care. I decided to pursue a career in psychology to aid in reducing mental health stigma, as well as to help others find self-empowerment, authenticity, and meaning in life.
