There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to the healing journey. I practice from a feminist, multicultural, and trauma-informed lens, which in part means that I view each client as a whole person by considering their experiences and context. Meeting clients where they are is what I care about most.

Because trauma is stored in the body, I believe that healing resides there as well. I have come to understand that the body/mind connection is an important factor in the healing process. Trauma fragments us, and healing helps us to become whole again–in body, mind, and soul. I enjoy utilizing trauma-conscious yoga, trauma model therapy, and Somatic Experiencing (SE), all of which can be effective tools for reconnecting with the body and the fragmented parts of self, as it feels safe to do so.

Specializes in:

Trained in:

Somatic Experiencing (SE), Trauma-Conscious Yoga and Trauma Model Therapy

My Mission:
To create a safe environment as I hold space for anything a person may bring into session. No topic is off-limits.

I welcome all identities into the room and feel it is a privilege and honor to share such a sacred and vulnerable space with my clients. My hope is that eventually, people might feel less alone on this wild roller coaster called life. All of you is welcome here.
My Journey:
I developed a passion for normalizing conversations around mental health, especially for the BIPOC community. This led me to pursue psychology in my education. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Edward's University in 2017 and my Master's of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University in 2020.

I also have training in mindfulness, body image, and dissociation and enjoy using strategies and tools from expressive arts-based approaches, dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), aromatherapy, and bibliotherapy.

Self-Care Rituals:

You can find me on my mat, checking out a state park, or watching a movie I’ve probably already seen a thousand times. I also enjoy collaging, cooking, and hanging out with my dog.
