1. Fully Licensed Therapists (Independent Contractor)

We are currently seeking fully licensed therapists in Texas for Independent Contractor positions.

 

We’re a good fit for clinicians who:

  • Are committed to anti-racism and providing inclusive, affirming care
  • Are open, reflective, and interested in growing as humans and clinicians
  • Enjoy working collaboratively with a team of supportive therapist peers
  • Are interested in building a more full caseload (around ~20 sessions per week)
  • Are excited to niche their services and deepen their areas of specialization
  • Are open to, or already familiar with, working with insurance (Aetna, BCBS, United/UMR), or who are ready to engage in active marketing efforts with the support of our administrative team

 

This role is ideal for therapists who want the flexibility and autonomy of private practice with the support, consultation, and community of a group practice. Competitive pay and room for growth.

2. Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Private Practice

Empowered Healing Dallas ® offers a comprehensive Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Private Practice for pre-licensed psychologists with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.

 

Our fellowship is designed for emerging psychologists who want to grow clinically, deepen their identity as a therapist, and gain real-world experience in a supportive, trauma-informed private practice. This position was crafted to meet APPIC post doctoral standards and Texas state board exempt site status.

What the Fellowship Includes:

  • 2 hours of weekly supervision & training
  • Weekly group consultation
  • Overhead expenses covered
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Access to private pay & insurance referral networks (Aetna, BCBS, United/UMR)
  • Flexibility to hone specific clinical interests and niches
  • Minimum salary guaranteed so you can build your caseload stress free
  • Exposure to marketing and social media practices for networking & referrals
  • Ability to see clients in person and via teletherapy across Texas and in PsyPact States
  • Opportunities to work with individuals, couples, and groups
  • Specialized support in working with:
    • Couples & intimate partnerships
    • Complex trauma & PTSD
    • People of size & body liberation work
    • Gender-affirming care & LGBTQ+ clients
    • Mind–body & somatic interventions
    • Highly sensitive people
  • Potential to supervise advanced fieldwork students (as appropriate)
