Growing up in an immigrant family and moving often, I quickly learned how to form relationships with those whose paths I crossed. I was fascinated by the idea that people's experiences and identities could be so different yet lead them to the same country, city or neighborhood. Hearing the stories of others became a joy for me. While studying Elementary Education and Psychology at Vanderbilt University, my passion for hearing and honoring the stories of others grew and led me to obtain my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. After that adventure, I moved to Dallas, began my career as a therapist and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. Outside of my therapy work, I love spending time with friends, playing and watching tennis, and exploring the Dallas restaurant scene. I have also started fostering dogs and have enjoyed getting to know a number of furry friends!

As a counselor, I work from a social justice-based and trauma-informed lens. I believe we all have parts of our identities that influence the ways we move through the world and process experiences. As such, I find it imperative that part of therapy is centered on exploring and affirming all salient parts of your identity. I will support you in sharing your story, identifying your values, experiencing your emotions, and building skills to work towards your goals. I utilize a person-centered approach, which means I view you as the expert on your story. My desire is to honor your story while empowering you to build the insight and self compassion needed to heal and grow.

Time and time again, I have found that the strength of the therapist-client relationship is a vital part of the therapy process. I strive to create an atmosphere that is welcoming, warm and flowing with compassion. I also believe that consistent respect and feedback are essential in the therapy room. I recognize that engaging in therapy takes tremendous vulnerability, courage, and strength, and I am committed to moving at the pace that honors the work you are doing. And one more thing—tears are always welcome in my office with no apology needed! I am honored and excited to come alongside you on your journey to growth.
