You’ve probably spent a lot of time trying to hold it all together, doing everything you can to meet expectations, avoid conflict, or be the person others can rely on. On the outside, you might look composed and capable, but inside, you’re exhausted from overthinking, self-doubt, and the quiet belief that you’re never doing enough.

I help clients who are ready to untangle these patterns and build a kinder relationship with themselves. Together, we’ll explore how early experiences, cultural messages, and relationship dynamics have shaped the way you see yourself and connect with others. Our sessions will focus on reducing shame, softening self-judgment, and helping you reconnect to your needs and emotions with curiosity and compassion.

As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I provide a culturally affirming space for clients navigating identity, family expectations, and generational narratives. You don’t have to keep proving your worth to feel loved or accepted. Therapy can be a space where you finally get to rest, where your feelings are valid, your story matters, and your healing is possible.

Whether we’re speaking English or Spanish, my goal is to help you find language for your inner experiences in ways that feel authentic, empowering, and true to who you are.

My Mission:
My hope is that in your counseling process you feel encouraged, empowered, and safe to process through any difficult moments you may be going through. I will meet you where you are in a non-judgmental, open, and warm space to support you along the way.
My Journey:
I am a New-York born, Puerto Rican who found my way to Texas in pursuit of my graduate degree in Counseling Psychology. Having studied a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, I knew my passion and personal qualities were calling me to further my education in this field.

I found that completing my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Texas Woman’s University aligned with my multicultural-feminist values. And in more ways than one, I have seen how providing mental health services in Texas from a multicultural perspective and being able to work with the Spanish speaking population has been very meaningful to me.

FAQs

  • How do I know if therapy is right for me if I’m struggling with anxiety, people-pleasing, or perfectionism?
If you often feel overwhelmed by worry, find yourself putting others’ needs ahead of your own, or feel like nothing you do is ever “enough,” therapy can help. In our work together, you’ll have a safe, supportive space to explore these patterns, understand where they come from, and begin practicing new ways of relating to yourself and others with more compassion and balance.
  • What is your approach to working with anxiety and perfectionism?
I believe lasting healing happens when we look beyond just managing symptoms. Together, we’ll explore what is keeping you feeling stuck. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative, always moving at your pace and guided by your nervous system.
  • I feel nervous about being vulnerable. How do you create a safe space in therapy?
I know it takes courage to open up, especially if you’ve learned to hide your feelings, minimize your needs, or focus on others first. I strive to create a compassionate, judgment-free space where you don’t need to perform or prove anything. Here, you’ll be met with empathy, validation, and gentle guidance as you build trust—both with yourself and within our therapeutic relationship.

Self-Care Rituals:

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy connecting with nature and moving my body through hiking, biking, and exercising. During my down time I also enjoy binge watching reality TV and finding some light-hearted comedies or stand-ups to connect with laughter.
