You might find yourself stuck in old patterns, saying yes when you mean no, avoiding conflict to keep the peace, or holding back parts of yourself to stay safe in relationships. Maybe you’ve learned to protect yourself by being guarded, independent, or always “the strong one,” but deep down you’re craving connection and authenticity. Healing often starts when you have a space where you can be fully seen, not the polished version of yourself, but the real one.

In therapy, I help clients build that kind of space. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way of you feeling free to be yourself, whether it’s past trauma, relationship dynamics, identity stress, or the pressure to meet others’ expectations. I work from a trauma-informed, relational approach that emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and compassion. You don’t have to do all the emotional labor alone; therapy can be a place where your needs are heard, your voice is practiced, and your truth feels safe to share.

As a queer therapist, I’m passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and helping people navigate the intersections of identity, culture, and relationships. Whether you’re exploring your identity, building confidence in relationships, or healing from past pain, I’ll walk alongside you as you learn to feel more grounded, empowered, and connected, both to yourself and to the people who matter most.

My Mission:
I deeply consider collaboration and authenticity within our therapeutic relationship as cornerstones to healing and growth. I’ve come to understand that healing looks different for everyone and that it’s important to tailor our shared time to help you achieve the vision you have for your life.

We’ll work together to identify skills that will bring you safety, comfort, and lasting change.

To understand yourself better, improve your interpersonal relationships, and empower you to lead an authentic life.
My Journey:
I became captivated by the mental health field while in high school, and I have continued to seek education and experiences related to the study of Psychology with fervor and passion. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2015, my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in 2019, and my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in 2023.

FAQs

  • How do attachment issues show up in adult life?
Anxiety about closeness, avoidance, people-pleasing, or difficulty trusting. These are protectors, not flaws.

  • Can therapy help me break people-pleasing patterns?
Yes—by strengthening boundaries, tolerating discomfort, and practicing new ways to relate.

  • How do you support Queer clients in therapy?
With affirming, consent-based care that centers your safety, lived experience, and chosen family. Your identity is honored—not treated as a problem.

Self-Care Rituals:

Spending time with my friends and family, engaging in rest, playing video games, immersing myself in music, and watching tv shows across many of the streaming platforms.
