You don’t have to have the perfect words to explain how you feel, sometimes, what’s happening inside can’t be neatly described. Maybe you’re a teen or young adult trying to find your voice in a world that feels loud. Maybe you’re a perfectionist who feels pressure to always hold it together, even when you’re exhausted. Or maybe you’re exploring your identity or simply trying to feel comfortable in your own skin, and you want a space where all of you is welcome.

I work with kids, teens, and adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, strengthen relationships, and find creative ways to express emotions. My approach blends relational therapy and expressive arts, using creative modalities alongside talk therapy. You don’t have to be “artistic” for this to work; expressive arts simply gives your inner world another way to speak. Together, we’ll explore what feels stuck or unspoken, and help you build more self-compassion, confidence, and flexibility in how you move through the world.

Therapy with me is collaborative and affirming, and together we’ll create a space where your full identity, creativity, and story are celebrated. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, honoring the courage it takes to be seen, and helping you reconnect to your voice, your values, and your inner calm.

My Mission:
My mission is to create an authentic environment where you truly feel seen and understood. I provide guidance in cultivating awareness and open sharing of emotions through a trauma- informed and strength-based approach. This journey is not one-size-fits-all. I am here to support you in exploring what matters most to you, recognizing that you are the expert of your own experience. Together, we will work toward lasting change that aligns with your personal goals and values.
My Journey:
Ever since I was a child, I have been passionate about helping others. Through my own life experiences, service work, and psychology courses, I developed a passion for mental health. I earned my undergraduate degrees in psychology and sociology at Southern Methodist University and continued on to earn my Master of Science in Counseling. My experience includes working with adolescents in PHP and IOP settings, leading groups at non-profit agencies, and seeing individual clients of all ages in a private practice setting.

FAQs

Art, journaling, and creative prompts bypass pressure to “say it right,” helping teens express and regulate in ways that feel natural.

Self-Care Rituals:

I love being outside, whether I’m walking, playing pickleball, or teaching myself to roller skate. I find joy in being creative through art making and curating music playlists. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.
